The Vagina Monologues sold out on Friday night at Livermore's Bankhead Theater and played to
a nearly full-capacity theater for its Saturday matinee. To everyone who came to the show - thank
you for supporting the Haven's mission to end violence against women. We hope you laughed, cried,
and had an amazing time. Those of us in the cast certainly did!
Join Us For Sexual Assault Awareness Month and our Candlelight March!
The March is on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 7 pm. We leave from the Lizzy Fountain in Livermore
at the corner of First Street and North Livermore Avenue. The more walkers the better!
We will be walking to get the word out about Tri-Valley Haven and about preventing
sexual assault in the Tri-Valley (which appears to be on the rise).

There will be great food and activities for the whole family at the Spring
Fling Spaghetti Feed which will be held on Saturday, May 17, from 5:00 to 7:30
at the Veteran's Memorial Hall in Livermore.

Located in Livermore, California, the Tri-Valley Haven has provided shelter and counseling for battered women and their children since 1977. Counseling for survivors sexual assault, molestation, and domestic abuse is also provided at
our Community Building. The Haven operates a 24-hour crisis phone line for domestic violence and is the region's only rape crisis center. Additionally, the Haven operates Sojourner House, a shelter for homeless families, a restraining order clinic,a food pantry for needy families, and community education and violence prevention programs.
