CASE MANAGER, Non-Exempt
General Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Lead Case Manager, the Case Manager
will provide direct service in a sensitive, non-judgmental, informative and effective
manner to homeless, domestic violence and/or sexual assault survivors and their
children who are clients of Tri-Valley Haven. Responsible for providing general
oversight of the program and participants.
General Requirements: Bachelor's degree with one year's experience. Ability to
work independently, manage time and tasks effectively. Knowledge of violence
toward women and children. Completion of Agency Training within 6 months of
employment (if not before).
Hiring Range: $16.00 - $18.40 per hour
BILINGUAL COUNSELOR - Part Time
General Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor,
the Bilingual Counselor will provide individual, family and group counseling
to homeless, domestic violence and/or sexual assault survivors, their
children, and significant others.
General Requirements: Related MA/MS/MSW required. Two years' experience;
one in residential environment preferred. Ability to manage time and tasks
effectively. Knowledge of family violence, homeless issues, and sexual
assault preferred. Bilingual Spanish required. Completion of Agency
Training within 6 months of employment (if not before).
Hiring Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
OVERNIGHT STAFF
General Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Lead Case Manager,
the Overnight Staff will work the overnight shift(s) for the shelter
while developing and maintaining an understanding of contracts acquired
by Tri-Valley Haven. The Overnight Staff will assist TVH managers in the
preparation of contractual reports and documents. Assist with shelter
operations as directed by supervisor.
General Requirements: Bachelor's degree with one year's experience. Two year
minimum experience with computers, one year in a non-profit setting; knack
for detail work; experience working alone. Ability to work independently,
manage time and tasks effectively. Knowledge of violence toward women and
children. Completion of Agency Training within 6 months of employment
(if not before).
Hiring Range: $15.00 - $17.25 per hour
