What's happening at the Haven:
Classes and Events

Classes As an organization devoted to caring for clients in a holistic way, the Haven is a veritable beehive of activity, with classes, special events, and community outreach programs happening year round.
Classes
The Haven offers a range of classes on building life skills, such as our Parents Creating Change class, which teaches young parents the skills they need to prepare their children to build healthy family and social relationships and to succeed in school.
Special Events
Throughout the year, we sponsor or participate in local events such as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, The Vagina Monologues, Thanksgiving Basket Distribution, Gingerbread Cookie Project, and others.
Community Outreach
Tri-Valley Haven offers a variety of one-off classes to the community, including self-defense for women and girls, date rape awareness, anti-bullying strategies for pre-teens and teens, recognizing signs of domestic violence and making appropriate interventions, and more. Classes may be held at neighborhood organizations, schools, workplaces, and places of worship. To schedule a presentation for your group, call 925-449-5845 x2713.
